Mutual Recognition Programs (MRP)

LSI has special agreements, or Mutual Recognition Programs (MRP), with many Los Angeles and Orange County area colleges. Under the conditions of the MRP agreement, these colleges provide LSI students guaranteed admission without having to take the TOEFL® test. In addition, LSI students can take part-time college classes while enrolled full-time at LSI.

Furthermore, the colleges will issue a Conditional Letter of Acceptance to students planning on attending college after finishing LSI's program. Following is a list of colleges LSI has agreements with:

While each college is listed under the nearest LSI campus, the MRP agreements cover all LSI schools. Therefore, students are able to transfer to any college no matter which LSI campus they attend. Next to each school is the level of completion needed before a student is allowed admission to that specific school under the MRP agreement.

The TOEFL iBT®program at LSI is very helpful and useful. When I started it, my English level was really low, but after two months I reached a score of 85 on the official TOEFL® test. The TOEFL classes at LSI helped me to improve my English skills, such as grammar, pronunciation and phonetics. Also, the TOEFL program enriched my English vocabulary and general knowledge in English. Furthermore, the classes are very dynamic. LSI utilizes multimedia tools which enhance the learning process. Also, the books and materials are practical. A bonus is that professors are very helpful; they gave me a set of strategies and tactics that allowed me to resolve questions on the TOEFL. Moreover, the whole staff of the school is very friendly, polite and helpful. I strongly recommend LSI.
