Changing status to F-1

If you would like to attend LSI, but need to change your visa status first, please contact us for a free appointment with one of our change-of-status specialists.

Please bring the following to our school:

  • Application form (paper)
  • Copy of passport
  • Copy of current visa
  • Copy of I-94
  • Bank statement (at least $15,000 / no more than 3 months old)
  • $100 non-refundable processing fee
  • $200 SEVIS fee
  • $200 tuition deposit

Other necessary information, additional documents, and fees might be required. Please make an appointment to speak to our change-of-status specialists.

My English has improved a lot in the TOEFL iBT® class. I have learned many tips and have practiced writing. Professor David gives us good examples and has taught us how to organize the structure of English writing. He also analyzes sentence structure in detail and explains vocabulary in an easy way. We practice speaking by discussing the reading’s topic from the book or from recent news in America. The TOEFL teacher has inspired me to think more about my life and the environment.
