As an international student you should be aware of what to expect as you apply to a language school abroad.

Coming to the U.S. might be challenging, especially for those students visiting the country for the first time. Students need to be aware of their immigration rights and the variety of services that are available to help students make their stay more enjoyable and successful. The first step for every student is choosing a school where he or she can learn English and study American culture. For many students, Los Angeles is the ideal place to study because of the carefree lifestyle and ideal weather conditions all year around! When most people think of Los Angeles, they are thinking of the overall metropolitan area, and not the specific city of Los Angeles. The greater Los Angeles area comprises over 60 independent cities in 5 counties.

Our four centers are all in the greater Los Angeles area and each offers something for everyone. Alhambra is just north and east of downtown, a quiet place to live, but close to all the main destinations. Placentia, in Orange County, is further west near Disneyland and other famous attractions. Torrance is south of downtown near the beautiful California beaches! Our Los Angeles center is located in the business district of busy downtown Los Angeles.

As you may know the application process for any educational institution in the U.S. requires a specific preparation process.

In order to apply for any LSI English and test preparation program, you will need to submit:

  • LSI Application Form
  • Non-refundable Registration Fee
  • Copy of Foreign Passport
  • SEVIS Fee
  • Express Mailing Fee
  • Bank Statement
  • Tuition Deposit

The TOEFL iBT® class has been a big help to me! It has helped me improve my English writing, reading, and speaking. It has also helped me understand language in general and it has been very practical and easy to study in this course. Professor David is a big help in this class. He makes it easy to learn and understand language. He also gives good examples and explanations of the topics. The professor answers all my questions about grammar and even explains it with examples from daily life. This class has definitely helped me a lot in my journey to learn English. It also helps me with my goal to write at a college level. This will help me on my way to university.
